OECD Regulatory Quality and COVID-19: Managing the Risks and Supporting the Recovery

On 22 April 2020, the OECD published the note "Regulatory Quality and COVID-19: Managing the Risks and Supporting the Recovery". Several issues are addressed, including the need for fast-track procedures to adopt regulations, proportionality of enforcement and international regulatory cooperation. The OECD also highlights the relevance of innovative approaches (such as artificial intelligence, big data and digital technologies) to regulation in order to increase its effectiveness.
