E' la domanda che pongono Tommaso Giommoni, Luigi Guiso, Claudio Michelacci e Massimo Morelli con una nota pubblicata su la voce.info (link originale qui), dopo aver illustrato in che modo la mancanza di chiarezza delle regole in Italia possa generare enormi impatti sul sistema produttivo e dei costi altissimi.
Un loro studio recentemente sul tema (articolo originale qui) stima che, se le leggi italiane fossero scritte con la stessa chiarezza dei principi costituzionali, il PIL italiano sarebbe oggi più alto del 5%.

A recent study of theirs on the topic (original article here) estimates that if Italian laws were written with the same clarity as the italian constitutional principles, Italy’s GDP would be 5% higher today.
