The Chair is pleased to announce that LUMSA University will host the Lear Competition Festival (LCF) from the 21st to the 23rd of September.
Lear is one of the associated partners of the European Master in Law and Economics - EMLE (which the chair is part of) and the LCF is an innovative international event, where all stakeholders of the antitrust community are brought together. Experts from a variety of backgrounds will address the most topical issues of competition law and economics.
Over its three days, the festival will host cutting-edge debates on new competition tools and issues, discussions of selected international cases, and advanced academic contributions on competition law, competition economics, competition policy, and regulation.
In addition, LCF22 will offer media sponsors the opportunity to become a media partner and organise special sessions dedicated, for instance, to the discussion of a recently published book or the interview of leading experts in the field of antitrust.
Moreover, building on the great enthusiasm generated in the previous edition, LCF22 will once again host the Young Talent Competition Award (YTCA) for the best research proposal on topics related to competition submitted by young economist and lawyers who wish to pursue a professional or academic career in the field of antitrust.
