The Information Commissioner's Office (a UK independent authority, set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals) published a Artificial Intelligence and data protection risk toolkit. The latter is is designed to provide further practical support to organisations to reduce the risks to individuals’ rights and freedoms caused by of their own AI systems.
The tackled questions are "Is data being used fairly, lawfully and transparently?"; "Do people understand how their data is being used?"; "How is data being kept secure?" and the focus is on accountability, transparency of processing, mitigating discrimination, and ensuring individual rights around potential automated decision-making.
