Since 2012, the Penn Program on Regulation has organized an annual Distinguished Lecture on Regulation, bringing to campus prominent government officials, legal scholars, regulatory practitioners, and business leaders.
The 2023 Distinguished Lecture on Regulation will be delivered by Kara M. Stein, Board Member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). The PCAOB protects investors and furthers the public interest by regulating the accounting professionals who provide independent audit reports for publicly traded companies.
